Debbie’s new book will prove to be an excellent resource for the beginning Mah Jongg player. The formatting with the large print, logical presentation, highlighting, and illustrations make it easily usable. The Table of Contents and Glossary help the reader quickly find the information they need to be a successful player. I recommend that instructors teaching a group of beginners encourage their students to purchase it.

I’d like to add that Unlocking the Secrets of American Mah Jongg can also serve as a valuable review for the seasoned player who thinks they know how to play Mah Jongg. The presentation makes the book easy and enjoyable to browse. I’m pleased to have a copy on my Mah Jongg bookshelf.
